Northshore Technical Community College Workforce Development
We exist in a dynamic New Global Economy where workforce demands of the public and private sector evolve and change at a rapid pace. Northshore Technical Community College is committed to workforce development, because job pace and shifts in workforce demographics present enormous challenges. Northshore Technical Community College Workforce Development Division offers a number of business enhancement services including customized workforce training (credit and non-credit), industry certification programs, and grant funded programs in addition to our standard programs of study. Our customized training can be developed to fit the training needs of business and industry. We will work to develop a curriculum that enhances the skills of an incumbent workforce or design a new program that will attract potential employees. Our Workforce Development Division focuses on fulfilling these primary goals:

Implement workforce development and training services with flexible delivery and rapid responses that meet the needs of the employer community.

Develop partnerships and leverage resources with our local communities to respond to their workforce development and training needs.

Give priority to collaborative regional strategies for workforce and economic development.
Mission
Northshore Technical Community College's Workforce Development Division provides rapid response services and customized training to business & industry while serving the needs of the local community. The Workforce Development Division utilizes workforce and economic development strategies to prepare individuals for the globalization of our modern economy.
